TeCC Team Supports NASA TecFusion™ Program

As Part of the SBIR/STTR Support Services to NASA Langley, the TeCC team with partner PennTAP is supporting the NASA TecFusion™ Program. Thanks to this important program, small companies and entrepreneurs are given an opportunity to present, license, and sell their technologies to large corporations. This successful program spurs economic development by spinning innovative technologies into the marketplace, potentially leading to new jobs. TeCC Awarded NASA Langley Research Center SBIR/STTR Support Contract On March 13, 2009, TeCC was awarded a 5-year contract by NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) to provide support to the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program. TeCC's partner in this effort is the Pennsylvania Technology Assistance Program (PennTAP) at Penn State University. The TeCC effort will support the LaRC's Small Business Partnership Team in project management of the SBIR/STTR program. The SBIR/STTR support will include: review of proposals; outreach activities to promote the program; and implementation of NASA LaRC developed TecFusion Summits to infuse technologies into major user corporations.
